Infinity Residences

Penteli, Athens, Greece

Year: 2022
Design & Construction: Kordas Architects
Architect: Anastasis Dimokas - Led façade and exterior design while employed at Kordas Architects
Photography: Sotiris Kotsanis (courtesy of Kordas Architects)

This project consists of three family homes arranged to accommodate parents on the ground floor and two adult children with their spouses on the first floor. A key client requirement was to provide the two children’s homes with identical spatial qualities. The design takes the shape of an infinity symbol, intertwining the two residences to symbolize the lasting bond between brothers. This form enables subtle shifts in design details between the two homes while maintaining perfect spatial equality. The parents’ home is distinguished by a stone façade, representing strength and support for the family. Together, the materials and layout create a cohesive, meaningful family compound that thoughtfully explores themes of equality and connection within shared living.
