Mediterrain Architecture is the personal portfolio of Anastasis Dimokas. Born in Athens, Greece, Anastasis has lived and worked as an architect across Europe and the United States. He holds a Diploma in Architecture from the National Technical University of Athens and a Master of Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley, where he also worked as a research assistant. His work focuses on high-quality residential design with an emphasis on sustainability, guiding projects from initial concept through to completion. With experience in both smaller boutique studios and larger international firms such as HOK and SmithGroup, his portfolio covers a variety of scales and typologies across the world. Recognized with scholarships and awards academically and professionally, Anastasis brings a global perspective and a strong design sensibility to each project.

APPROACH​

For Anastasis, architecture is a collage of ideas. Every element, from site conditions to project needs and creative exploration, is a piece carefully assembled to form a functional and harmonious whole. His design process involves ongoing refinement and iteration, thoughtfully balancing form and function. To support this process, he uses photorealistic visualization tools to guide informed decision-making, along with BIM software for precise modeling, coordination, and project management.
