Mediterrain Architecture is the personal portfolio of Anastasis Dimokas, an architect born in Athens, Greece and currently based in San Francisco, California. He holds a Diploma in Architecture from the National Technical University of Athens and a Master of Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley, where he also worked as a research assistant. Anastasis has lived and worked across Greece, Belgium and the United States, gaining experience in both boutique design studios and internationally recognized firms such as HOK and SmithGroup, contributing to projects across a range of scales and typologies. For Anastasis, architecture is a collage of ideas, where site conditions, program, and form are brought together into a coherent whole. His process is iterative and analytical, driven by continuous refinement and change, and a strong emphasis on spatial experience. To support this approach, he integrates advanced digital workflows, combining parametric modeling, photorealistic visualization, and BIM tools to inform decisions and maintain precision from concept through construction.
